The Sony HDC-3500 portable system cameras expand on the capabilities of the current HDC-2000 series with the addition of a new 2/3-inch 4K global shutter three CMOS sensor system. Camera supports HD, HDR and 4K, as well as IP capabilities via Network TRUNK (LAN port)

The new 2/3-inch 4K CMOS sensor eliminates the “jello effect” and banding noise. This camera system can output 3G-SDI signals in a range of formats right up to 1080/50p, with 4K available via the CCU‘s 12G-SDI and Quad 3G-SDI interfaces.

The HDC-3500 has an exchangeable transmission side panel. Users can choose any of Sony’s three optional side panels, depending on operational needs: Triax, Fiber or wireless transmission. All can easily be switched using Sony’s unique and simple side panel interface.

At the same time Sony released world’s first 2/3-inch HD CMOS sensor with global shutter technology which is included in HDC-3100 fiber and HDC-3170 triax cameras.

Smooth slow motion

HDC-3500 offers double-speed acquisition function, transmitting high-quality Full HD images to the HDCU-3100 or HDCU-2500 Camera Control Unit (CCU).
