Sony PWS-4500 production server system is one of the key elements of Sony’s next-generation 4K/HD live production solutions. It is a cost-effective, solution for 4K live production, 4K & HD acquisition, and high frame rate (slow-motion) replay.

Once clips have been recorded by a server connected to a dedicated 10 GbE IP network, the new Share Play feature enables these clips to be shared among all connected PWS-4500 servers. Such solution delivers very efficient workflow.

4K/HD simultaneous recording

This server can simultaneously create and record HD files from 4K camera feed and you can use those HD files as proxy material.

4K/HD advanced XAVC server with IP interfaces

PWS-4500 is an advanced 4K/HD XAVC server, which enables live production for 4K/HD in combination with IP-enabled cameras and production switchers.
